I recently read about a billboard in Philadelphia that was offending people. It was a picture of a blue sky with a few white fluffy clouds, this is what it said.
“Don’t believe in God? You’re not alone.”
What is offensive about this statement?

It’s not offensive, but it sure is dumb.

oof, wait, was that offensive for me to say that?

Yeah eZe, I think what you said was more offensive. What the billboard says is fact: more than one person in the world believes that there is no god. In my opinion, facts cannot (or should not) be offensive. But then people will start arguing the definition of a fact, or which statements are facts, and then shit gets all fucked up.

To answer your question: Nothing is intrinsically offensive about the statement. But you can’t put any combination of words together without someone religious reading something into it that’s not there.
To divert from your question, but stay on the billboard topic: http://video.aol.com/video-detail/keller-billboards-draw-stares/2468225706
Now that could be considered an offensive billboard.
